GROW WOMEN’s RIGHTS FRANCE

I am a teacher. I’m not very happy when the little boys refuse the girls on their team. It’s important for the women, the young women to do what they like to do…for the woman rights to grow in society by football. Because football is the land for men.

This team is one of the best things we have as Americans. They represent the ethos of America— their, diversity, they’re smart and winning. They’re doing it all. It gives me pride in America that a women’s sports team can be what is beautiful for us right now.

In Brazil they don’t support very much the female fútbol…This is the first ever the female cup is going to be on public TV…Now the games are going to be out and the public TV is going to increase the interest. It will be more known.

I think we will go very far because it's a young dynamic team and since our first match the girls are focused//Je pense qu'on ira trés loin car c’est une jeune équipe dynamique et depuis notre premier match les filles sont concentre.

When we [Canada] had FIFA four years ago, I made an advertisement across Canada (to make others) aware that the women’s national time was playing in this FIFA event...Someone has to take the courage to make that announcement.

Being the first group to (qualify for the Women’s World Cup)… It’s a really big thing even though it might not get enough press or attention at home as it really should, I think it’s a great accomplishment and I can only say all credit to them.

Women— in not just in sports but everywhere— deserve equal representation and gender equality in all platforms… [This team is] bringing forth the balance of power and oppression and represents the freeing of those voices.

(The lack of economic support) is why we have to support the women so they can be equal to the men, towards a very good future.//Pero por eso que apoya a las chicas para que pueden ser igual a los hombres al futuro tan buena...Aye que sigue apoyo.

[My coworker’s daughter] plays with the boys and with [girls] older than her age group as well. If I was her, I’d be the happiest person in the world. I’m glad for these girls that the trailblazers before them have allowed them to get here.

It’s never too early Jamaica

It means a lot to me that people see women as the strong, talented athletes that they are…That’s why we’re bringing [my daughter] and she’s a year-and-a-half. It’s never too early for her to see the power of what women can do.

TO play, they leave MEXICO

It’s a very machismo sport in Mexico. The majority [of female players] play outside of Mexico to the USA and Europe— especially if they are gay because they are critical in Mexico. It is sad. *Mexico did not qualify

It’s fantastic. It’s fantastic to see the girls. When I was younger I wanted to play football but it was not possible. So I’m so happy to see the game today.
